Endless Tracks is going to Nepal so will be a bit quiet for the next few weeks as I pull on my boots and go trekking again. I will be in the Everest region following the route of the 3 High Passes. Along the way I will be seeing and photographing 4 of the 8000m mountains.
I will post photos on instagram whenever I have internet access so you can follow me at – endlesstracks – as I head on up the mountains. If I can, I will also post articles here.
Along the way I am planning to visit several historic Buddhist monasteries in some out of the way valleys and will be writing about them next month. I will also be looking out for the textiles of the area including the Pangdens, or aprons the Sherpa women wear, woven from wool and the dhaka cloth made of cotton.
I will be concentrating on taking some great photographs which I will share with you all when I get back to Sydney.
Until next time…..
